A lot of artist and companies buy ready-made 3d models instead of spending hours to create a model on their own. Modelling and texturing high quality object takes a lot of time - buying one can be cheaper than hiring an 3d artist.

Most of the marketplaces will give you higher royalty in exchange for exclusivity. It's up to you to decide whether listing in several marketplaces at lower royalty will earn you more than listing just on one site but with higher royalty.
